The service

Lexicon is a vocabulary-learning app that provides flashcards, study sessions, and related learning features. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Using the app

• You may use Lexicon for your own personal, non-commercial learning.
• You agree not to reverse-engineer, copy, resell, or misuse the app or its content.
• You are responsible for keeping your device and iCloud account secure.

Subscriptions and payments

• Lexicon offers a free tier and an optional paid subscription ("Pro"). Free users can study a limited number of new words per day; Pro unlocks unlimited new words and additional features.
• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
• Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Unused trial time is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.

Content and accuracy

We work to keep definitions, examples, and pronunciations accurate, but we provide the learning content "as is" and cannot guarantee it is free of errors. Lexicon is a study aid, not a substitute for professional language instruction or reference works.

Availability

We aim to keep Lexicon available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features that rely on iCloud or third-party services depend on those services being available.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lexicon is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
